Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) is one of the UK’s leading names in fifth and sixth-form education, offering a distinctive alternative to traditional schools. Founded in 1973, it has colleges in London, Birmingham and Cambridge.

A unique teaching approach
Students can choose university foundation programmes, or GCSEs and A levels offered in over 40 subjects, taught in small Oxbridge-style tutorial groups. Each student has a Personal Tutor, who provides them with tailored academic and pastoral support.

Strong results
Our approach is reflected in a highly consistent record of exam results; in 2019, the most commonly achieved A level result was A*/A and 24% of  UK placements were at top  10 universities.

Our accommodation is provided and managed by Kensington Student Services (KSS), with facilities that provide a comfortable, safe and secure environment for students.
