Queen Margaret’s is the top girls boarding school in the North of England and is a school where students aim high and exceed their expectations.

In 2016 our girls achieved a 100% pass rate at A Level. The recent results report that 50% of entries ained the highly sought after A*-A grades and nearly 80% of entries gained A*-B grades. 30% of girls taking A Level examinations in 2016 achieved three or more A*-A grades. GCSE results were similarly impressive, with 98% of students achieving five or more A*-C grades, far outstripping the falling national average of 67%. 87% of all GCSE entries in 2016 gained A*-B grades, up from 81% in 2015. These results demonstrate that life at QM gives girls a fantastic grounding, with many going on to top universities around the world.

A QM education is an exciting and enriching experience.
