Our parents say: “The best thing about the school: an approachable and personable head “ and “the camaraderie is exceptional“
Founded by Henry VIII in 1541, it is one of the oldest schools in Wales and educates and nurtures 395 pupils annually between the ages of seven and eighteen. The institution consistently achieves excellent results at A level and GCSE. The institution consistently achieves excellent results at A level and GCSE. Over the past three years, 43% of A level grades were A* or A and 87% grade A to C. Over the same period, 46% of GCSE results were grades 9 to 7. This strong track record, which is testament to the quality of the teaching and learning experiences the school offers, has enabled the majority of Christ College pupils to progress on to their first choice of course and university.
Christ College quickly becomes a second-home for pupils and the faculty becomes family. Its second curriculum complements academic study and contributes to pupils’ skills development and includes music, creative and performing arts, sport and outdoor pursuits.
