Cothill

Cothill is a small school, but a big family. Our scale allows us to ensure each child is treated as an individual, nurtured and encouraged to find their strengths and develop their foundations. Our pupils are given the foundations to overcome the challenges they will encounter at the next stage of their education and beyond.

The dedicated staff instill a love of discovery and learning among the children, both in the classroom and beyond. We see ourselves as the protectors of childhood while giving our pupils the skills they need for a bright future. From September 2025 Cothill will evolve into a co-educational flexi and full boarding prep school, helping to engender equality, creativity and curiosity in our classrooms from an early age.

Initially the admissions process for girls will focus on Years 3-5 in September 2025 and, as these year groups move up, the school will gradually become fully co-educational. A girls’ boarding facility is planned to open in September 2025 and the school expects to have girls in all year groups from September 2027.
