The National Mathematics and Science College

The National Mathematics and Science College (NatMatSci) is the top specialist STEM college in the UK. For those students looking to excel in STEM subjects, the specialist education we provide is designed to enable them to thrive both at A-level and beyond. We recognise that a high-quality specialist education must go beyond the narrow confines of the curriculum and must expose our students to the breadth and joy of maths and science in an integrated way.

We are geared to help students learn how to think, not what to think, which will allow them to thrive at College, at the best Universities, and beyond. We are proud of our student’s progression to leading universities, almost 20% gained places at Oxbridge and all students gaining offers at Russell Group universities. Our results are excellent: 87% A*/A A levels average for the last three years.

We have International successes in competitions such as the IBO, IChO, Euclid Mathematics, AAPT Physics Bowl and we were winner of The Independent School of the Year 2023 Award for 'Outstanding New Initiative' for our STEM Communication Programme. Our Medical programme includes work experience placements, interview practice, BMAT/UCAT preparation and individualised guidance and support every step of the way.

Accommodation – Our modern hall of residence located immediately next to the College. All bedrooms are single occupancy with en-suite, and 24/7 care and support. The campus is located in a leafy academic hub adjacent to Warwick University with excellent connections: Birmingham International Airport (20 minutes), Heathrow (1hr).

“I would never have achieved my place at Cambridge if I hadn’t been at NatMatSci” Rick
