Cranbrook School

Cranbrook School is consistently rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and one of the oldest and highly regarded co-educational boarding grammar schools in the country. Our aim as a leading boarding school is to support all students to fulfil their potential through our core values of respect, aspiration and achievement.

“ We aim for all boarders to fulfill their potential and develop as well rounded individuals.”

Situated in the heart of the Kent countryside, Cranbrook is blessed with superb facilities, a 75 acre campus and a truly dedicated teaching staff. Entry for boarders occurs at Year 9 and Year 12 and has an overall school population of 874. Our top priority is that our boarders are happy, healthy and well cared for – allowing them to achieve their full potential academically, socially and physically.

Our 240 boarders give us a rare and special dimension among grammar schools. Their experience in our boarding family is happy and vibrant, thanks to excellent accommodation in our six Houses, our skilled, dedicated House teams and an extensive programme of activities. There is a thriving co-curricular programme with exceptionally high levels of participation in sport, music and drama. We also offer well-structured time for our boarders to learn, enjoy and grow.
