Situated in 260 acres of beautiful private parkland in Reigate, Surrey the Royal Alexandra and Albert School is a state boarding school for girls and boys aged 7 to 18. There is a strong boarding ethos with around 450 of the school’s 1,000 pupils being boarders.
"We develop impressive individuals, ready to flourish."
The School’s extensive grounds house fantastic sporting facilities, including five rugby pitches, flood-lit all-weather sports pitches, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, and Equestrian Centre.
In the Sixth Form there is an emphasis on developing leadership skills and a global outlook. As such, pupils participate in the Global Leader Award, a bespoke leadership and skills-based development programme. In addition, all pupils undertake, alongside their A Levels, the Extended Project Qualification or the Cambridge Pre-U Global Perspectives short course.
At the core of the School’s community is an understanding of pupil needs and a commitment to education - in the truest sense of the word. That is, the development of strong values, character, resilience and independence, as well as academic achievement.
