Giggleswick is renowned for its welcoming and supportive environment. Family-friendly boarding from Year 4, an extended school day during the week, a full day of school on Saturday for Senior School pupils, and a programme of activities on a Sunday means that boarders are never left on their own. Our academic standards are high across a broad curriculum. 80% of our 2023 leavers secured a place at their first-choice university, including Medicine and Classics at The University of Cambridge, Maths at Durham University, History at Exeter University, and Architecture at UCL.

This safe, secure environment is within a 3.5-hour train journey from London, and an hour from Manchester, Leeds, and York.

We welcome international pupils from over 17 different countries, including expatriate and Forces families. Of our total pupil body, 81% are British and 20% are internationals.
