Lancaster Royal Grammar School

Established in the 13th century, we are one of the UK’s top grammar schools for boys aged 11 to 18 with a Co-educational Sixth Form welcoming girls and boys into boarding.

LRGS is a successful, modern, state boarding school. We are particularly proud of the warmth of the relationships between pupils and staff and of the quality of our pastoral care.

The atmosphere at LRGS is vibrant, inspiring – and fun! Our students go on to the most competitive universities, including around 15 annually to Oxbridge.
