Godolphin School, situated atop Milford Hill, overlooking the cathedral city of Salisbury, is one of the oldest girls’ boarding schools in the country. Founded in 1726 with the sole aim of providing education for girls, the school now has an edgy 21st century feel to it.
"Rare to find such an outstanding boarding school, buzzes with confident, gregarious girls"
Salisbury is less than an hour and a half by road from Heathrow Airport and an hour and a half from London Waterloo by rail. The port city of Southampton is to the south of Salisbury and the historic city of Bath to the west.
Boarding is available from age 7 at Godolphin Prep to A-level in either the junior or senior boarding houses, and the Sixth Form Centre.
