King’s College Prep School

We are a leading Pre-Prep and Prep school, for girls and boys aged 2-13. Set in a beautiful countryside location surrounded by farmland, the school is only a couple of minutes' drive from the centre of Taunton.

We respect traditional values and boarding is a strong feature, which contributes to the real family atmosphere that exists in the school. Children enjoy a challenging all-round education in a progressive and stimulating environment.

King’s College Prep School is one of the Woodard Schools, a group of 40 member schools whose approach is based on the principles of the Church of England. Our senior school, King's College, Taunton, is also a member and the two schools benefit from having their own independent sites, furnished with excellent age-appropriate attitudes and facilities. The vast majority of our pupils move on to King's College at age 13.
