A remarkable boarding culture

With over 90% of boarders residing as full time boarders, Monkton is a busy place! The contacts and camaraderie that build up give the boys and girls a foundation of friendships for life. By the time the students have reached the Sixth Form they are well on the way to acquiring organisational and inter-personal skills that will help them settle
quickly into life after Monkton, whether it be in a Gap year or university of their choice.

A full weekend programme
Weekends at Monkton are full on! There is a breadth of activities available at weekends. As well as rugby, cricket, tennis, hockey and rowing there are over fifty extracurricular activities that run seven days a week, which means that there really is something for everyone at Monkton.
