Military families have been part of Taunton School for many years and are a key component of its diverse community. Students enjoy the stability of undisrupted education in a home-from home environment. Significant financial support is provided for military families in receipt of CEA looking for full-time boarding.

Founded in 1847, Taunton School is a community of five schools: a Senior School with new Sixth Form centre, a Preparatory School, a Pre-Preparatory, a Nursery and an award-winning International School, all on one campus. With an ethos rooted in kindness and compassion, the school celebrates each individual child, allowing students to explore their passions through a wealth of academic, sporting and performing arts opportunities, so that they find their exceptional and become well-rounded, confident individuals with a global mindset. 

We offer three GCSE pathways and four Sixth Form pathways, consistently achieving impressive results. With more than 150 co-curricular options and an ongoing £20 million campus development plan, we are constantly improving our offering to ensure we continue to meet the needs of every student. Students from military backgrounds are represented in every aspect of Taunton School life, whether on the sports pitches, the stage or in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Pastoral care is at the heart of Taunton School, genuinely being one inclusive family made up of day pupils and boarders.
