"We challenge, inspire and nurture young people to succeed in a global community."
Set in a beautiful 56-acre site, the School nurtures the individual in a broad-minded atmosphere, equipping our young people with the life skills to enable them to shape the world in the 21st century.
Taunton consists of an experienced Nursery and Pre-Preparatory School, inspiring Preparatory School, an innovative Senior School and a specialist International School. Taunton School aspires to offer a complete journey of education to all children and young adults, unearthing and nurturing the talent within every individual.
Taunton School believes that education should be thought of as a structure with five pillars – Academic, Pastoral, Co-curricular, Community and Global Outlook – and we challenge our students and staff to aim for excellence in each of these areas.
Forces’ students are strongly represented in many aspects of Taunton School life, including sports (we have military students playing at county level and above), CCF, drama and many more. Military students have also recently gained significant scholarships into both the Prep and Senior Schools.
