The West Buckland School campus is naturally safe and secure, as it is set in 37 hectares of stunning North Devon countryside, beside the Atlantic coast.
“A consistent track record of academic success, a beautiful location and exceptional facilities.”
In recent years, over £14m has been spent on facilities, including a Sixth Form co-educational boarding house with 70 en-suite single bedrooms, as well as a state-of-the-art library and study centre. These, along with the outstanding Art and Design Technology building and first-class sporting complex, are amongst the best to be found in any school in the region.
The school is lively and vibrant, with a well-supported boarding community of UK and international students from around 18 different countries. Our boarders enjoy a busy and varied programme of activities, including surfing, mixed football, yoga and art, making the most of our amazing facilities and location.
Our Head Coach runs our tennis programme for all abilities, from beginners to performance players. Pastoral care is excellent and we have a vast support system of houseparents, tutors, nurses, counsellors, mentors and teaching staff to assist students.
