Sherfield School

At Sherfield School, we understand that life in a Forces family brings change and uncertainty. We provide a place where children feel settled and supported. Welcoming pupils from just 3 months through to 18 years, Sherfield offers a seamless journey, with boarding options available from age 9. We offer full-time, weekly, and flexi-boarding to suit different family needs. Many of our boarders are from military families, so pupils quickly find others who understand their experiences and form strong friendships. Stability sits at the heart of Sherfield life. Our pastoral team offers consistent care, helping pupils feel secure during periods of transition. This support allows them to focus on learning, build confidence, and take part in a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. Our modern boarding house offers ensuite rooms, with no more than two pupils sharing, creating a comfortable home environment.

Sherfield is proud to support Forces families through the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) and is listed on the CEAS Accredited Schools Database. We also offer a 10% fee reduction for Years 8 and below, and 15% for Years 9 and above. Sherfield is a place where children can settle quickly, feel understood, and make the most of their school years, wherever their family journey leads next.

Boarding at Sherfield fosters confidence and resilience within a compassionate, considerate school environment.
