The Pilgrims’ School

The Pilgrims’ School in central Winchester is a truly special school family for boys aged 4 to 13 with heart, excellence and a joy for learning at its core. Our high-calibre subject specialists are deeply committed to the boys’ academic and personal growth, both within and beyond the classroom. We embrace each student as part of our extended family, ensuring the journey is enriched with warmth, care, and humour. Our pupils consistently achieve excellent outcomes, with a significant number securing awards in academics, music, sport, or art at prestigious senior schools, such as Winchester College, Eton and Tonbridge. As well as being a high achieving school, we offer a varied curriculum, that includes sport, music and art, and many after school activities, including fencing, rowing and Warhammer.

With two vibrant boarding houses, our boarding community thrives from Year 4 onwards, and typically more than three quarters of boys live in by Year 8. It provides a wonderful opportunity for independence and camaraderie in a supportive atmosphere under a highly experienced boarding team. Life’s journey comes with its ups and downs, and at Pilgrims’ we focus on instilling key skills such as compassion, empathy, and resilience. Our dedicated pastoral and boarding teams are committed to guiding the boys in managing emotions, time, and relationships, making their school experience truly enriching.

“A school that maximises a boy’s academic potential in a happy and nurturing community.” A Pilgrims’ Parent
